Pakistan's new T20I captain Sahibzada Farhan said they would have bowled anyway

Razaullah and Mohammad Imran made their T20I debuts for Pakistan in the opening match of the three-game series against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis won the toss and elected to bat first, attempting to recreate their 2019 series-winning strategy of setting targets against Pakistan.
Pakistan's newly appointed captain Sahibzada Farhan noted he would have chosen to bowl first regardless. Sri Lanka is competing without the injured Wanindu Hasaranga, with Mendis placing trust in younger domestic talent.
