Khawaja set to unveil his version of events in explosive autobiography, tells Nine papers he was never interviewed by CA about Cape Town 2018…

Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja has claimed that the entire national team knew about the 2018 sandpaper ball-tampering plot. Ahead of the release of his autobiography Sabr, Khawaja told the Nine newspapers that sandpaper had also been used during the previous Test in Gqeberha, disputing the long-standing narrative that only Steven Smith, David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft were involved.
Khawaja also revealed that Cricket Australia investigators never interviewed him regarding the Cape Town scandal, despite him sitting next to Bancroft in the dressing room. Cricket Australia responded by stating it remains comfortable with the findings of its original integrity investigation.
