The New Zealand opener ends an 18-year first-class career having scored 10,127 runs and captained Northern Districts to the Plunket Shield title in 2024-25.
Former New Zealand opening batter Jeet Raval announced his retirement from professional cricket on October 9, 2026, ahead of the 2026-27 domestic season. The 38-year-old concludes an 18-year first-class career that began with Auckland in December 2008. Raval represented New Zealand in 24 Test matches between 2016 and 2020, registering one century and seven half-centuries, and was part of the squad that claimed the inaugural World Test Championship in June 2021.
Raval finished his career with 10,127 first-class runs across 292 innings, including 23 centuries. His 8,662 Plunket Shield runs rank fourth on the tournament's all-time list. He played his final competitive match for Northern Districts in March 2026, having captained the side to the Plunket Shield title during the 2024-25 campaign.
