The Story in 60 Seconds

Left-arm spinner Matthew Humphreys has returned to Ireland's squad for their upcoming five-match ODI tour of Namibia later this October. The series in Windhoek marks the first time Ireland will play a men's ODI against Namibia, serving as preparation for next year's 2027 World Cup Qualifier. Humphreys replaces no one from the previous squad, representing the sole addition to an otherwise unchanged group.

Following the Namibia series, Humphreys will also captain the Ireland Wolves on a tour of Zimbabwe in November, featuring two four-day matches and five one-day games.
