Kagiso Rabada became only the fourth South African bowler to take 200 Test wickets on home soil, joining some of the country's biggest names in the record books.
Kagiso Rabada became the fourth South African bowler to take 200 Test wickets on home soil during a Test match against Australia. He reached the milestone in 7,017 balls, surpassing Dale Steyn's record of 7,751 balls to become the fastest bowler to achieve the feat. Rabada finished the first innings with figures of 2/33 in 12 overs after dismissing Nic Maddinson and Mitchell Starc.
Rabada joins Dale Steyn, Makhaya Ntini, and Shaun Pollock on the historic list. His performance contributed to South Africa dismissing Australia for just 99 in their first innings to enforce the follow-on, following a strong batting recovery led by captain Temba Bavuma's 179 and Marco Jansen's 5/33 with the ball.
