England will also play three ODIs in Sri Lanka in March after the inaugural Champions Trophy in India…

Senior England women's cricketers, including captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, will be allowed to miss a three-match T20I series in Sri Lanka if their teams reach the final stages of WPL 2027. The ECB confirmed players may prioritize franchise commitments because the high-stakes playoff matches in India will serve as quality preparation for the inaugural Women's T20 Champions Trophy in February 2027.
Retained players affected by the scheduling clash include Sciver-Brunt, Lauren Bell, and Sophie Ecclestone. Following the T20Is in Pallekele and the Champions Trophy, England will return to Sri Lanka for three ODIs in March.
