U-23 cricket | Andre Siddarth backs Tamil Nadu team to extend its dominance

C. Andre Siddarth has backed the Tamil Nadu Under-23 cricket team to extend its dominant run following its victory against the Rest of India Under-23 side on Sunday. The triumph added another trophy to the cabinet for Tamil Nadu, which previously secured a double in the preceding season.

Tamil Nadu will open its Col. C.K. Nayudu Trophy title defense against Saurashtra in Dindigul later this month. With Andre transitioning into the senior red-ball setup, all-rounder S. Mohamed Ali will take over captaincy, while Rest of India opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi also scored a double century upon returning from a finger injury.
