Kimi Antonelli has outlined his refreshed approach to the Sao Paulo Grand Prix after he wrapped up the title last week in Mexico City.

Newly crowned Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Antonelli explained that he is focusing on enjoying the remaining races following his title triumph in Mexico City. Driving for Mercedes at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, Antonelli topped the timesheets during Friday's second practice session after finishing just behind McLaren's Lando Norris in the opening session.
Antonelli noted that tricky track grip, tire degradation, and unpredictable weather could complicate the weekend at Interlagos. Meanwhile, Mercedes Deputy Team Principal Bradley Lord revealed teammate George Russell faces a five-place grid penalty for introducing a new Internal Combustion Engine, adding that Antonelli may also require an engine penalty soon.
