Daniel Ricciardo has admitted he spent months "hiding from the humiliation" after his abrupt F1 exit in 2024.

Former Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo has revealed he spent months hiding from humiliation, pain, and sadness following his exit from the sport in 2024. Speaking on F1's Beyond The Grid podcast with Tom Clarkson, the Australian explained that while he projected a happy demeanor publicly, he internally struggled after being dropped by Racing Bulls following the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix.
Ricciardo, who won eight Grands Prix across 257 race starts, noted that he viewed his departure as a personal failure. However, two years on from his release, he reflected that he is now able to look back on his motorsport career with pride and positivity.
