Franco Colapinto has shared a message to his fans after Lando Norris suffered abuse in the wake of his comments after Baku.

Franco Colapinto has urged his supporters to stop sending online abuse following backlash directed at Lando Norris after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Norris had called for Colapinto to receive an F1 ban after a crash involving Colapinto, Pierre Gasly, and Norris in Baku, though Norris subsequently apologized. Colapinto revealed that he also routinely endures online abuse from various fanbases across the world.
Colapinto admitted Alpine executive Flavio Briatore was angry after the crash cost the team a potential double-points finish. However, Colapinto indicated he expects no internal team punishment beyond his five-place grid penalty.
