Helmut Marko has launched a scathing attack on the new book by former F1 Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, and has strongly denied a deeply personal allegation made about him.

Former Red Bull adviser Helmut Marko has criticized Christian Horner's new memoir 'Drive' and strongly denied an allegation concerning his conduct. Speaking to Austrian outlet Krone, Marko refuted Horner's claim that he failed to offer condolences following the death of Horner's former partner Beverley Allen in June 2025. Marko showed a message on his phone to confirm he had offered his sympathies.
Marko dismissed other claims in the book as untruths and criticized its publication date of October 22, noting it coincided with the anniversary of Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz's death. Horner had previously confirmed during media interviews that he and Marko currently have no relationship.
