Ferrari star Lewis Hamilton admitted the team is still at a 'significant' disadvantage to their F1 rivals after being blown away by them in US Grand Prix qualifying.

Lewis Hamilton admitted that Ferrari remains at a significant disadvantage compared to rivals Mercedes and Red Bull following qualifying at the United States Grand Prix. Despite Ferrari topping all three practice sessions at the Circuit of the Americas, Charles Leclerc and Hamilton qualified in fourth and fifth place, respectively, behind pole-sitter Kimi Antonelli, Max Verstappen, and Isack Hadjar.
Hamilton explained that while the car handled well through the corners, Ferrari continues to suffer from a straight-line power deficit. Looking ahead to Sunday's race, Hamilton expressed hope that the car's race pace and tire management will allow the team to apply pressure from P5.
