Honda Racing Corporation has announced that its President and CEO, Koji Watanabe, will officially retire on January 1, 2027. Keiichi Yasuda, the current Executive Vice President and Representative Director of HRC, has been named as his successor to take over leadership of Honda's global motorsport division.
Watanabe has led HRC since 2022, overseeing the unification of Honda's two-wheel and four-wheel racing programs along with its Formula 1 return as a works partner with Aston Martin.
