Isack Hadjar reflects on tricky month as he gears up for Formula 1 return in Baku

Red Bull Racing driver Isack Hadjar will return to racing at the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku following a wrist injury. The French driver missed three races—the Dutch, Italian, and Spanish Grands Prix—after sustaining the injury during the summer break. Liam Lawson replaced Hadjar during his absence, while Yuki Tsunoda filled in at Racing Bulls.

Hadjar reported a positive simulator session and expressed his readiness to return to the RB22 alongside teammate Max Verstappen. Verstappen, who enters the weekend following podium finishes in Monza and Madrid, welcomed Hadjar's recovery ahead of the Baku street race.
