Toto Wolff voices Mercedes F1 title concern ahead of ‘demanding’ period

Toto Wolff has warned Mercedes to maintain focus on preparation, reliability, and operational execution as Formula 1 enters a demanding schedule of triple-headers starting at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Kimi Antonelli holds an 81-point lead over teammate George Russell in the drivers' championship, while Mercedes leads Ferrari by 145 points in the constructors' standings.

Despite Mercedes winning 10 of 14 races this season, Wolff cautioned that varying challenges from McLaren, Ferrari, and Red Bull remain significant threats. He noted that Antonelli benefited from a timely virtual safety car to defeat McLaren's Lando Norris at the previous race in Spain.
