Lando Norris issues a brutal verdict on McLaren's performance amid its ongoing F1 struggles.

Lando Norris delivered a harsh assessment of McLaren's recent performance following a difficult United States Grand Prix in Austin. Norris finished fifth, trailing race winner Andrea Kimi Antonelli by 30 seconds after a one-stop strategy gamble failed to pay off due to the absence of a late safety car. Following the race, the British driver conceded that McLaren currently possesses only the fourth-fastest car on the Formula 1 grid.
Despite McLaren bringing upgrades to its MCL40 car in Austin, Norris noted the team remains far off the pace in slow-speed corners and rear grip. Norris currently sits sixth in the drivers' championship standings, while McLaren has dropped to fourth behind Red Bull in the constructors' battle.
