Lewis Hamilton expressed confidence in Ferrari's prospects at the Mexican Grand Prix despite facing technical problems during Friday's second practice session. The seven-time world champion suffered power loss and missed out on high-fuel long runs, but he believes the car has strong underlying pace after teammate Charles Leclerc led both practice sessions.
Hamilton also dismissed paddock theories that Ferrari's turbo setup offers an advantage at Mexico City's high altitude, pointing to rivals' straight-line speeds. Because of his interrupted running, Hamilton noted he will have to rely on data from other drivers to configure his setup for Sunday's race.
