Lewis Hamilton was decidedly off the pace in Friday practice for the United States Grand Prix in Austin.

Lewis Hamilton has pledged to overhaul his Ferrari's set-up after taking a wrong direction during Friday practice at the United States Grand Prix in Austin. The British driver struggled with comfort over the bumpy circuit, finishing sixth in the opening session and fourth in the second practice session in his SF-26.
While Hamilton finished more than half a second off the leading pace in both sessions, team-mate Charles Leclerc topped both Friday practices. Hamilton noted that Leclerc proved the car has strong pace, confirming he will work closely with his engineering team to make necessary improvements.
