Mahindra has made up its mind over its driver pairing for the upcoming Formula E season and the start of Gen4.

Mahindra has confirmed that drivers Edoardo Mortara and Nyck de Vries will remain with the team for the 2026/27 Formula E season. The upcoming campaign marks the debut of the championship's fourth-generation Gen4 car. Both drivers have raced for Mahindra since 2023, securing two victories, 10 additional podium finishes, and six pole positions during their tenure.
The retention provides continuity as Mahindra enters Formula E's next chapter under CEO and team principal Frederic Bertrand. Last season, the team matched its best-ever finish of third in the teams' championship with a record 252 points. The move secures Mortara's 10th season in the series and de Vries's seventh campaign.
