Max Verstappen is uncertain whether he can fight at the front at the F1 US GP, as track conditions and car behaviour will differ from those at previous circuits.

Max Verstappen has voiced concerns regarding the bumpy surface at the Circuit of the Americas ahead of the United States Grand Prix. The Dutch driver joked that he might need to order a new spine or become like Robocop after observing track conditions during a World Endurance Championship event. Despite coming off consecutive victories, Verstappen remains uncertain if he will be able to fight at the front in Austin.
Red Bull faces additional challenges with the handling and reliability of the RB22 car heading into the race. While Verstappen has managed various issues throughout the season, teammate Isack Hadjar has recently suffered power unit and gearbox failures, adding further uncertainty before the team tackles Austin and the high-altitude Mexico City Grand Prix.
