Esteban Ocon faces dwindling options to remain in Formula 1 for the 2027 season as he prepares to leave Haas, where Rafael Camara will replace him. Although Ocon is reportedly holding out for a full-time race seat, available drives remain scarce, and journalist Lawrence Barretto reported via F1 TV that a reserve driver role is his most probable outcome.
While a return to Mercedes as a reserve was considered a strong possibility, Barretto noted that the team is reportedly not Ocon's most likely landing point. Additional potential options, such as Cadillac or Racing Bulls, face substantial complications, leaving the 30-year-old French driver's immediate future in the sport uncertain.
