Mercedes pokes fun at Kimi Antonelli after Bahrain GP podium blunder

Mercedes playfully teased Kimi Antonelli on social media after the driver struggled with the traditional rosewater podium celebration following the Bahrain Grand Prix in Sepang, Malaysia. Antonelli finished second behind Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who secured his first victory of the 2026 Formula 1 season, while Lewis Hamilton took third place.

The Italian driver struggled to spray the non-alcoholic rosewater bottle, prompting Mercedes to post a clip on X joking about his technique. Antonelli's runner-up result extended his championship advantage to 84 points over teammate George Russell.
