Ferrari has introduced minor micro-aerodynamic updates to the SF-26 at Sepang ahead of a final major upgrade package scheduled for Austin. The adjustments aim to extract extra performance from the car rather than serve as track-specific modifications. The updates include two micro-flaps positioned on the outside of the rear diffuser to boost aerodynamic load and downforce without excessively increasing drag.
Additional adjustments feature a reduced carbon cover on the bib and two small vortex generators to optimize airflow management. Although Ferrari remains second in the Constructors' Championship, the team has endured a five-race podium drought as rival teams have advanced. Ferrari has also publicly reaffirmed its support for team principal Fred Vasseur amid technical focus shifting toward the 2027 car.
