Christian Horner believes Ferrari are “different” to every other F1 team, but he doubts Maranello will be his next home as the Scuderia would never…

Christian Horner has described Ferrari as unique because they are supported as Italy's national team, while explaining why a move to Maranello is unlikely. Describing himself as a "sleeping giant" after 15 months away from Formula 1, the former Red Bull team principal stated that acquiring equity in a team remains his primary objective rather than simply being a manager, an opportunity that Ferrari would not provide.
Horner, who left Red Bull in July 2025, revealed he has raised significant capital over the past year to invest in an F1 team. While he previously explored purchasing a 24 percent stake in Alpine, he does not view the Enstone squad as fitting his vision, leaving potential future ownership paths open to other outfits.
