On Sunday, the Mercedes starlet, aged 20 years and 68 days, crossed the line in third place at the Mexican Grand Prix to seal his crown, almost four years younger than when Lewis Hamilton first did so.

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli has become the youngest Formula One world champion in history at 20 years and 68 days old. The Italian driver secured the championship title by finishing third at the Mexican Grand Prix, clinching the crown with four races to spare following nine race victories throughout the campaign.
Antonelli overcame personal adversity after splitting with girlfriend Eliska Babickova just before the season began. Despite boosting his season earnings to approximately £8.3 million through bonuses, his mother revealed that Antonelli remains on a strict monthly pocket money budget managed by his family.
