Williams have outlined plans for their 50th anniversary year in 2027, with a milestone chassis designation, an immersive experience in London and a fan-picked Silverstone car livery all set to feature throughout a calendar of special events.

Williams have announced their plans to celebrate the team's 50th anniversary throughout 2027 with a full calendar of special events. The British outfit will become only the third Formula 1 team, alongside Ferrari and McLaren, to reach 50 continuous years in the sport. The centerpiece of the celebrations will be the 'W50 Live' immersive exhibition in Waterloo, London, highlighting iconic championship-winning cars and historic memorabilia.
The team confirmed their 2027 car will skip standard numbering to be designated the FW50. Fans will also be invited to vote on a special livery for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Williams Team Principal James Vowles and Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali both praised the enduring legacy and racing spirit originally established by founders Sir Frank Williams and Patrick Head.
