Boczar, Bowser Named Co-GAM Women’s Players Of The Year

Bridget Boczar of Canton and Elayna Bowser of Dearborn have been named 2026 Co-GAM Women’s Players of the Year, the Golf Association of Michigan announced. Boczar, a 23-year-old senior at Baylor University, and Bowser, a 29-year-old real-estate agent, finished the season tied at the top of the points list with 550 points each.

Bowser secured her third consecutive Player of the Year honor after winning the GAM Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship and the season-ending GAM Tournament of Champions. Boczar earned the honor for the first time, highlighted by her victory at the Michigan Women’s Amateur Championship with her brother Jack serving as her caddie.
