The President's Cup will live up to its name on Sunday, when Donald Trump will serve as the four-day event's honorary chairman at Medinah Country Club.
The White House confirmed that Donald Trump will attend Sunday's final round of the Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club near Chicago. Trump will serve as the event's honorary chairman following an invitation from the PGA Tour. The biennial competition features the United States team, including golfers Scottie Scheffler, Wyndham Clark, and Xander Schauffele, competing against the International team, which features Si Woo Kim, Adam Scott, and Hideki Matsuyama.
This appearance marks the first time in 2026 that Trump will visit a high-profile golf event at a venue he does not own. Trump previously acted as honorary chairman for the 2017 tournament at Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey and became the first sitting US president to attend the Ryder Cup the previous year.
