The field for the 2026 Hero World Challenge is mostly set, although there are still spots available if the host, Tiger Woods, wants to play.

The field for the 2026 Hero World Challenge has been revealed with 17 confirmed players, leaving three open exemption spots that could allow tournament host Tiger Woods to compete. The 20-player event takes place December 3-6 at Albany in the Bahamas, featuring seven of the top 10 players in the world, including Scottie Scheffler, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Cameron Young.
Woods has not played professional golf since missing the cut at the 2024 Open Championship and has yet to confirm a return date following multiple injuries and legal issues. If he opts to play, the tournament offers a low-stress venue for Woods to ease back into competition without displacing another qualified golfer.
