Golf has taken John Catlin everywhere except one place. But with a runaway win in Hong Kong, he finally earned his ticket to the Masters.

John Catlin won the Hong Kong Open by five shots on Sunday after shooting a final-round 6-under 64, finishing at 20-under par. The victory earned the American golfer an exemption into the Masters at Augusta National, fulfilling a lifelong career dream.
Under a qualifying pathway created by Augusta National and the R&A, select national open winners secure spots in both the Masters and Open Championship. The Hong Kong Open marks Catlin's sixth career national open victory, adding to his previous DP World Tour and Asian Tour achievements.
