Inside Trump Turnberry’s iconic lighthouse, one of the game’s great landmarks

Trump Turnberry's famous lighthouse, situated beside the 9th hole of the Ailsa Course in Scotland, serves as both a historic landmark and a luxury venue. Originally constructed in 1873 on the grounds of medieval Turnberry Castle, the 24-meter beacon was automated in 1986 and continues to guide passing ships.

At ground level, the structure operates as a halfway house featuring the King of Scots café. The upper level was converted into a luxury two-bedroom suite in 2016, with nightly accommodation rates starting at roughly $4,600.
