History was made at Trump Turnberry on Wednesday as the Internationals won their first Bridges Cup title in emphatic fashion.

The International team earned their first Bridges Cup victory by defeating the United States 20-12 at Trump Turnberry in Scotland. Led by captain Simon Holt, the Internationals built a 12.5-7.5 lead across the first two days before winning the first four singles matches on Wednesday to secure the historic win and end the Americans' three-edition winning streak.
Dennis White clinched the decisive point for the Internationals on the 18th hole against James Bull. The Internationals ultimately won the singles session 7.5-4.5, with subsequent matches featuring wins from Colm Campbell, Jacob Austin, and Angus Carrick, concluding the fourth edition of the premier mid-amateur competition.
