Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll made Major League Baseball history on Wednesday night against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. By hitting a two-run triple in the first inning, Carroll recorded the 60th triple of his major league career.

Playing in his 640th career game, Carroll joined New York Yankees legend Lou Gehrig as the only two players in MLB history to achieve at least 60 triples and 100 home runs within their first 640 games. At 26 years old, Carroll currently leads all active MLB players in career triples.
