Jake Rill outlines five key offseason questions facing the Baltimore Orioles following the conclusion of their 2026 campaign. Primary front office priorities include whether president of baseball operations Mike Elias will hire a dedicated general manager and how the club will address the potential departure of free-agent starting pitcher Trevor Rogers. Rogers posted a 3.16 ERA across 48 starts over the past two seasons.
Rill also highlights roster questions regarding a third-base logjam featuring Jordan Westburg, Coby Mayo, and Christian Encarnacion-Strand. Additionally, the club faces defensive decisions concerning utility player Blaze Alexander's potential shift to the outfield, alongside determining ninth-inning roles between veteran relievers Félix Bautista and Ryan Helsley.
