Atlanta manager Walt Weiss said Chris Sale could be available for Game 3.

The Atlanta Braves have announced left-hander Ray Kerr as their starting pitcher for Game 2 of the NLDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Facing a 1-0 series deficit, Atlanta will use their third consecutive bullpen game of the postseason. Kerr previously delivered 3 1/3 scoreless innings in Thursday's 6-2 Wild Card Series victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Braves manager Walt Weiss opted to rest ace Chris Sale, who could return for Game 3 in Atlanta after pitching in relief during the Wild Card decider. With an off day scheduled for Monday, the Braves plan to aggressively deploy their rested bullpen, which includes Grant Holmes, JR Ritchie, and high-leverage arms like Raisel Iglesias and Robert Suarez.
