Baltimore Orioles outfielder Dylan Beavers acknowledged that he must improve his consistency and overall production heading into the 2027 season. After an encouraging debut late in 2025, Beavers batted .227 with nine home runs in 105 games during 2026, seeing his on-base percentage drop to .305 while missing six weeks due to a right oblique strain.
Orioles president of baseball operations Mike Elias addressed the regression seen across several homegrown players, noting that organization-wide adjustments are being evaluated. Meanwhile, Baltimore faces numerous upcoming roster decisions, including several free agents and club options after finishing the season with a 79-82 record.
