Former Baltimore Orioles top prospect Vance Honeycutt is looking to make a name for himself in the AFL.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Vance Honeycutt is impressing scouts with a strong start in the Arizona Fall League for the Peoria Javelinas. Playing on October 5, the 23-year-old went 2-for-4 with a 106.6 mph home run, two RBIs, and a stolen base. His performance suggests significant developmental progress following earlier struggles in his professional career.
Selected 22nd overall in the 2024 MLB Draft, Honeycutt previously struggled with high strikeout rates across two seasons in High-A. However, he rebounded after an August promotion to Double-A Chesapeake, posting a .997 OPS across 20 games and carrying that momentum into the AFL.
