Grant Wolfram was fine for the Orioles

Camden Chat evaluates left-handed relief pitcher Grant Wolfram's 2026 season with the Baltimore Orioles as solidly effective despite mixed overall statistics. Wolfram made 60 appearances out of the bullpen after Keegan Akin suffered an injury, logging a 4.30 ERA and a 1.318 WHIP. The writer highlights that Wolfram frequently experienced stretches of strong effectiveness, recorded 10.5 strikeouts per nine innings, and allowed only one home run across the entire campaign.

The writer notes that Wolfram suffered from bad defensive luck and a high BABIP early on, while occasional multi-run outings inflated his overall ERA. Looking ahead to 2027, the author argues that Wolfram provides useful and affordable bullpen depth for Baltimore, noting he retains two minor league options heading into his age-30 season.
