Red Sox likely gain advantage after Yankees’ latest nonsense Aaron Judge injury update

The New York Yankees are expected to enter their Wild Card series against the Boston Red Sox without slugger Aaron Judge. Judge suffered a calf strain just seven games after returning from a rib stress fracture, leading New York to place him on the 10-day injured list retroactive to September 17. Manager Aaron Boone indicated he does not expect Judge to be ready for the upcoming series.

According to reports from YES Network's Jack Curry, Judge has not participated in baseball activities and missed the final 11 games of the regular season. Although Judge stated he would do everything possible to play, roster decisions remain with Boone. Meanwhile, Boston faces injury concerns with Mickey Gasper, Eli White, and Tyron Guerrero sidelined.
