The Story in 60 Seconds

Two former Chicago White Sox players, first baseman Andrew Vaughn and left-handed reliever Cam Booser, remain active in the 2026 MLB Postseason. Vaughn is competing for the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, while Booser is pitching for the Tampa Bay Rays against the Cleveland Guardians in the American League Championship Series.

Vaughn joined Milwaukee in a 2025 trade for Aaron Civale and has gone 2-for-5 with a double this postseason. Booser signed a minor-league contract with Tampa Bay after being non-tendered by Chicago following a difficult 2025 campaign, subsequently recording a 1.98 ERA in the regular season and delivering two scoreless playoff innings.
