2027 South Side Sox Top Prospect No. 100: Jarold Rosado

South Side Sox ranked right-handed relief pitcher Jarold Rosado at No. 100 on its 2027 Chicago White Sox top prospects list. The 24-year-old was originally acquired from the Kansas City Royals in a trade for Paul DeJong in July 2024. During the 2026 campaign, Rosado split time between Double-A Birmingham and High-A Winston-Salem, registering a 4-4 record with a 6.85 ERA across 43 1/3 innings.

Brett Ballantini notes that Rosado has struggled to adapt to Double-A in back-to-back years due to ongoing control issues. However, Rosado rebounded after his demotion to Winston-Salem, throwing 8 1/3 scoreless innings combined between the regular season and playoffs as the Dash won a High-A championship.
