After two wins in Cleveland, the White Sox have two chances to clinch on the South Side for the first time since the 1906 World Series.

The Chicago White Sox defeated the Cleveland Guardians 4-3 on Monday night to take a 2-0 lead in the American League Division Series. After sweeping the Houston Astros in the Wild Card Series and taking two road games in Cleveland, Chicago now returns to Guaranteed Rate Field with two opportunities to clinch an ALCS berth, which would mark their first home playoff series clincher since 1906.
Reliever Sean Burke earned the win by pitching 5 1/3 innings and allowing just one walk and one single, while Grant Taylor secured his second save of the series. Offensively, Braden Montgomery hit a key two-run double and Chase Meidroth drove in another run during a decisive three-run sixth inning against Cleveland.
