Fletcher, who is married to Padres second baseman Jake Cronenworth, has her own playoff responsibilities to handle in a different time zone.

Chicago White Sox field reporter Brooke Fletcher is balancing her television reporting duties with supporting her husband, San Diego Padres second baseman Jake Cronenworth, during the postseason. After covering the White Sox's Wild-Card sweep over the Houston Astros, Fletcher traveled to watch Cronenworth and the Padres face the Milwaukee Brewers before immediately heading to Cleveland to cover Game 2 of the ALDS for CHSN.
The couple, married in January 2025, navigates cross-country schedules while each pursues their professional baseball careers. Fletcher, whose father Scott Fletcher played in the majors, also works college football sidelines for the Big Ten Network while remaining dedicated to both her reporting career and supporting Cronenworth.
