Cleveland Guardians pitcher Tanner Bibee won his first career Rawlings Gold Glove Award on Sunday. He joins 2022 winner Shane Bieber as the only pitchers in Cleveland franchise history to earn the prestigious defensive honor. Bibee also won his second career Fielding Bible Award last week.

Bibee won the American League award over fellow finalists Jacob deGrom and José Soriano. He led the contenders with +6 outs above average and +5 defensive runs saved. Bibee was Cleveland's lone Gold Glove winner this year after outfielder Steven Kwan missed out in center field to Ceddanne Rafaela.
