The Cleveland Guardians hold the MLB record for the most Manager of the Year Awards by a single franchise with six total honors. Manager Stephen Vogt, who was omitted as a finalist in 2026, contributed to the record by winning the award back-to-back in 2024 and 2025 after securing AL Central titles.
Cleveland's previous recipients include Terry Francona, who won three times in 2013, 2016, and 2022, alongside Eric Wedge in 2007. The Chicago White Sox follow closely with five awards, with manager Will Venable positioned as a strong favorite among 2026 finalists to potentially tie Cleveland's all-time mark.
