One Guardians Reliever Deserves More Recognition After Strong Season

Mike Battaglino writes that Cleveland Guardians left-handed reliever Erik Sabrowski deserves more recognition following a strong regular season. MLB also highlighted Sabrowski as a player from the AL Central division winners who merited greater spotlight, alongside Victor Mesa Jr. of the Tampa Bay Rays and Steven Okert of the Houston Astros.

Sabrowski pitched in 60 games for Cleveland this season despite missing time with elbow inflammation, recording 76 strikeouts and a 2.61 ERA over 48.1 innings. A former Rule 5 Draft pick who overcame two Tommy John surgeries, he helped Cleveland's bullpen achieve a 3.54 ERA heading into the ALDS.
