Projecting the Guardians’ ALDS Roster

Writer Quincy Wheeler projects the final spots on the Cleveland Guardians' 26-man roster ahead of the upcoming ALDS. While identifying 22 core players as virtual locks, including Jose Ramirez, Steven Kwan, and starting pitchers Parker Messick and Gavin Williams, Wheeler evaluates the top candidates competing for the remaining four available roster selections.

To complete the roster, Wheeler predicts the Guardians will select Rhys Hoskins, Foster Griffin, Tanner Bibee, and Slade Cecconi. Hoskins is favored to provide a right-handed bat against left-handed pitching, Griffin offers bullpen relief with Colin Holderman sidelined, and Bibee and Cecconi provide pitching depth over utility player Daniel Schneemann.
