Former Rookie Of The Year Will Be A Yankees Free Agent This Winter

New York Yankees relief pitcher Michael Fulmer is set to enter free agency this winter at the conclusion of the regular season. The 33-year-old right-hander joined the Yankees mid-season after a stint with the Los Angeles Angels earlier in 2026. He will be eligible to sign with any Major League Baseball club.

Fulmer posted an 0-1 record with a 4.50 ERA over 12 appearances during his tenure with the Yankees in 2026. The 2011 first-round draft selection previously won the 2016 American League Rookie of the Year award with the Detroit Tigers and has also pitched for the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, and Minnesota Twins.
