It's going to be a busy offseason for the Astros, who have a lot of decisions to make on their roster.

Patrick Creighton of Climbing Tal's Hill argues that the Houston Astros should execute significant roster changes following a disappointing campaign. Creighton analyzes eight players facing decisions, recommending that the club retain only reliever Steven Okert and third baseman Isaac Paredes while letting the other six players depart in free agency or through declined options.
According to Creighton, reliever Bryan Abreu is expected to walk for closer opportunities, while Daulton Varsho, Christian Vazquez, Enyel De Los Santos, and LaMonte Wade Jr. should not be re-signed. Additionally, Creighton projects the Astros will buy out Ryan Weiss's $5 million club option and exercise Isaac Paredes's $13.35 million option.
