Lucas Spence is an outfielder for the Houston Astros. He signed with the American League West team as an undrafted free agent in 2024. The lefty slugger debuted for the team on July 17, 2026.
Houston Astros outfielder Lucas Spence has been in a relationship with his high school girlfriend, Hailey Delgado, since June 2019. The couple met at Crete-Monee High School in Illinois before Delgado went on to graduate from Northern Illinois University in December 2024. She currently works as an elementary school teacher at Peotone CUSD 207U School District.
Delgado celebrated Spence on social media following his historic performance against the Athletics on Thursday. Spence hit three home runs and recorded five RBIs to lead Houston to a 7-5 victory, becoming only the third player in MLB history to hit his first three career home runs in the same game.
